May 30th, 2006Tourbooks offer a good starting source for Costa Rica information, but please don’t underestimate consulting with locals who know more than most tour books. There is no reason to worry about how you will meet people once you get there, as there are so many friendly people everywhere on the island. They can usually afford you more information about Costa Rica than can any book.
