Echo Canyon State Park is suitable for tents and RVs and is 15 miles from the town of Pioche. This park is one of the most popular Nevada camping areas, known for its wildlife, fishing, hiking and swimming facilities. Some full hook ups are available and the campground has picnic areas. The campground is arranged around the 65 acre Echo Canyon Reservoir, which is stocked with bass, crappie and rainbow trout. There is a boat launch ramp for access on the water. The area promises sightings of herons, eagles, teals, coyotes and jackrabbits. Snow occasionally falls here through the winter.

Over dinner we brought up the subject of the Myrtle Beach spring break with her father. His first reaction was very similar to mine. Once we started talking about the home repairs that would be done for needy families he began to listen. We asked our daughter if she had any idea of who the parents would be.
