Challenges Of The Rock Climbing Wall

July 30th, 2007

The practice of the indoors rock climbing wall was first conceptualized in the UK and the first one was built in 1964 at Leeds University by a lecturer called Don Robinson and what he did was to insert pieces of rock into a corridor wall. This was followed by commercial rock climbing walls being built in Sheffield, England which is a traditional rock climbing center mainly because it lies close to the Peak District.
