Coffee Shops

The largest chains you probably encounter are Starbuck’s, Gloria Jeans and Seattle’s Best. All offer fairly uniform coffee drinks, hot and cold. Chances are you’ll find something suitable in any of them. On the other hand, none of these famous coffee shops satisfy me to the fullest. I yearn for a cup of fresh java that has a distinct flavor of freshly roasted beans. Now, at this point you’re probably thinking that most coffee houses grind their beans right in front of you when they prepare the espresso. This is true. But, when were those coffee beans roasted? Was it last month, or have they been sitting on some shelf for a year?
