Direct Flight To Your Destination
You will have a better time getting a direct flight if you live in a large urban area and you are going to another large city. This was not the case for me, and the only way I can get a direct flight is if I visit a city within a few states. Anything further away is going to be a connecting flight. My airport is very small, so they can only handle so much traffic. When I found out I was not getting a direct flight, I have to admit that I did panic a little.
