Hiking in Divisadero and the Spectacular Copper Canyon

View from DivisaderoAbout 250 miles from El Paso, Texas is the Copper Canyon National Park (Parque Nacional Barranca del Cobre) which is made up of six inter-connected canyons and gorges in the Sierra Tarahumara of Chihuahua State in Mexico.

The park covers an enormous area and five of its six canyons are deeper than Arizona’s famed Grand Canyon. The landscape of the Copper Canyon National Part is also truly outstanding and one of the most beautiful views that you will find anywhere in the world is that from the town of Divisadero, which for many years now has been a favored center for the more adventurous hiker.
