Wilderness survival is especially important if you are a person who likes the outdoors. Sometimes, circumstances can take a turn for the unexpected and the best way to survive is to be prepared by mastering some very necessary skills.
Be able to tell direction. Navigation skills can lead you in the right direction and get you out of the wilderness, literally. Have a compass with you and know how to read it.
Try learning the more advanced ways of finding direction. These are skills taught by experienced outdoorsmen who can teach you how to tell direction even when the sun isn’t shining, or observing prevailing winds or by looking at “indicators” on rocks, melting snow, trees and shrubs.

Here are the things that Mark always takes along on any camping trip. And you’ve got to have your Medical Survival Kit…
1. The most important piece of paper that any camper must have is the map, which will serve as a guide to show where they are going. Mark always bought a new one every year since nature has its way of changing things over time.
2. Mark was a soldier trained in the old school. While many troops relied on the global positioning system, this person still felt that the compass was still better choice. This device isn’t powered by batteries and can be used anytime together in conjunction with a map in hand.

Finding vacation activities in Hawaii isn’t hard. Basically, your number one activity will be hanging out on the beach. There is more than one way to do this, however. Swimming can be fun, and sunbathing is a necessity, but you should consider some other Hawaiian activities while you’re at it. For example, just renting or buying a snorkel and a pair of fins can make your beach trip much more exciting. There are so many things to look at under the water! When I was there, I saw sea turtles, coral, and literally dozens of species of tropical fish. The water was warm, the waves weren’t too bad, and the views were out of this world!
