Purpose made sports footwear is made for a reason, and not just as a case of looking good and identifying the sport. Just as Vans Shoes are the Original Skate Shoe, you wouldn’t dream of putting them on to go wrestling no more than you would slip on a pair of wresting shoes to go skating, or running spikes to go ballroom dancing. If you’re serious about learning to wrestle either professionally or just as a hobby, then protect your feet and ankles from the outset and only shop for the real deal. You’ll be glad you did!
