I want to travel in Wisconsin for the outdoor sports
January 21st, 2008There is nothing in the world I enjoy more than outdoor sports. My favorite place to travel is in Wisconsin. That is where my heart is free! The Wisconsin travel experience is like no other. If you like forested areas with natural vistas you will be in hog heaven. The fishing is like no other place. I’ve personally been involve in bringing in a forty six incher. That is an indescribable feeling. My heart was racing wildly and it wasn’t even my fish. There are multiple locations to find someone to mount your prize.
Hunting is also wonderful there. There are black bear abundant in many areas. Hunting is a big part of the Wisconsin economy so there are many tourist amenities built around the vacationing hunter or fisherman. The lodge I stayed at was right on a small inlet of a lake. Five feet from the front door was the boat and the forest hunting was right out the back door. There was a restaurant only a hundred yards away for those days when the luck wasn’t so good, which was very rare. We caught seventy five crappie from seven in the morning until eleven in the morning. As you can see they were hitting hot and heavy. If you want to get the big fish, the action isn’t as furious but it is still good.
