What you want to have with you and what you need to do to get ready to go depends on your family and the ages of your children. Whatever the case, though, being unprepared can mean the difference between having an amazing time and wishing that you had never gone in the first place. Great family holidays definitely begin with a smart packing plan, and the ability to see all the possibilities that may arise while you are gone.
Packing for family holidays when you are the parents of younger children is probably one of the biggest vacation related challenges that you can face. You are going to find that you want to pack everything in your home that you use on a daily basis.
