Use good rock climbing equipment for safety
October 11th, 2008Shoes are one of the first pieces of rock climbing equipment to shop for, since the right shoes will allow you to scale a variety of surfaces much more easily. The stiff soles on these shoes will successfully protect the feet from sharp, jagged rocks and provide the necessary friction for more effective work. The shoes usually fit rather tightly, even uncomfortably, but the snug fit gives you the control necessary for the sport.
