Argyle sweater vest pattern running horizontally

Tuesday, December 1st, 2009

A good place to start is the Tehama argyle sweater vest. Available in white or pink, it features an argyle pattern running horizontally across the chest area.

Another design in the Tehama range is the Ladies V-Neck version. This is a 70% cotton and 30% bamboo garment. It also provides a UPF protection factor of 30. The colorful argyle pattern is limited to the left front of the garment. The fabric has both anti-microbial properties and is also quick to dry.

Aussie Experience – Great Barrier Reef Tour

Thursday, August 23rd, 2007

According to various online sources, the reef is the world’s largest coral reef system, is composed of approximately 3,000 individual reefs, and 900 islands that stretch for over 1600 miles. A wide diversity of life is supported by the reef, and a large part of it is protected by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, which helps to limit the impact of human use from over-fishing and tourism. As mentioned above, the reef supports a diversity of sea life including many vulnerable endangered species, some of which may be endemic to the Great Barrier Reef.

Camping Holidays

Tuesday, July 17th, 2007

I grew up taking camping holidays. My parents never went on those expensive camping holiday trips – the ones guided by tour guides in foreign countries. They knew enough about the woods that they could get around pretty much anywhere they wanted to go. We even took camping holidays to exotic destinations like Australia and New Zealand. Basically, the cost was low no matter where we went. All we had to do was pay for transportation, and the rest would practically be free.

You can see some of the great things Australia has to offer, and perhaps see things that those who stick to just seeing Sydney might miss out on. Your destination is up to you, of course, but just like in the US, there is so much more to see than just what the most popular city might have to offer.

Perth the destination for cheap flights.

Monday, March 26th, 2007

The revived Ansett Australia has been swamped with bookings for cheap flights to Perth when they are restored next week. The airline has scheduled twice daily 144-seat Airbus A320 flights between Perth to Melbourne and Sydney, with connections to Brisbane beginning on 8 October. The charges of $A402 return to Melbourne, $A412 to Sydney and $A445 to Brisbane are well below the normal fares. One damper on the revival of Ansett in Perth was that the bookings were channelled through call centres in Adelaide and Launceston
