Great article on boat show
For the most part, however, I wouldn’t get into trouble at the boat show. I knew that if I made a fuss, my parents wouldn’t take me there next year. That alone was too much to bare. Instead, I would wander around the boat show, politely asking questions about the different boats. I would find out how big a boat was… read more now about BOAT SHOW

Nice info about Toronto dinner cruises
The great thing about romantic dinner cruises is that they offer something for everyone. I was skeptical when she suggested a Toronto dinner cruise for the first time. It seemed kind of stuffy to me, to be honest. I like gourmet food – who doesn’t – but to be in such a formal environment for hours was not my idea of fun. What I didn’t realize was that they have Toronto dinner cruises for all tastes. Of course you can go… Read more now about TORONTO DINNER CRUISES

Cruises are quickly becoming one of the most popular forms of vacation travel. While on a cruise, you get to see the world while on a large ship that is designed the pleasure of it’s guests.
A few years ago, my wife and I enjoyed a wonderful week on a Norwegian Caribbean cruise. We visited 6 islands, had lots of sun and made friends with some other couples.
However, not everyone has such a pleasurable experience as we did. Nothing is worse than shelling out good money for the vacation of a lifetime, and then finding out that the trip doesn’t meet your expectations. Whether it’s a cruise or vacation on land, if the food isn’t up to par, on-board activities are lacking, or any of the services at your hotel or cruise are slow and sloppy, you will be unhappy. If you check out the cruise ratings of your ship before you made your reservations, you could avoid trouble.
To know where to find these ratings, you need to understand what is a Cruise Rating. Ratings are usually compiled by professional cruise critics and tourists who have completed their trip and want to share their experiences. While anyone can have a bad experience for reasons that may be out of the control of the cruise line, compiling a large number of ratings can give potential travelers a good idea of the average enjoyment level that other people may have had. The rating helps someone anticipate the kind of experience that they may have on board the ship.

My first cruise vacation was actually my honeymoon. I will never forget that warm sultry evening as my wife and I stood on the deck watching Miami slowly disappear behind us on our voyage across the Caribbean. Special memories and from that moment on, my wife and I were hooked on cruise vacations. Along the way, we have picked up a lot of tips to help enjoy the cruise even more, here are six of the best.
Think Budget
On our honeymoon we decided to make this the vacation of a lifetime and as such we kind of forgot about budgets and all these monetary. It soon became apparent after the cruise was over that we had probably taken this carefree attitude a bit to far. There are a lot of hidden extras to consider like paying tips to your porter on board and maybe the costs of excursions and shopping on board. Also, the ease at which you can get drinks, cocktails e.t.c. on board may be great at the time, but it can very quickly get out of control. Decide on a budget and stick to it.
Orientate Yourself With the Ship
Modern cruise ships are enormous and are almost like floating towns. Just like when you first visit a town it is difficult to navigate your way around. Here the problem is compounded as you have many levels to explore as well. Take a day to just explore the ship and where it’s various facilities are and acquaint yourself with the safety aspects on board the ship.

Cruise planning is incredibly stressful for most people, they worry about every aspect of the trip, what to pack, what to do, what documents to take, what will the weather be like, and on and on. There are whole websites dedicated to answering these and many more questions.
Here are a couple of ways one can reduce the stress of planning a cruise.
1. Research you ports of call. I love to go on the internet and read about the ports of call I’ll be visiting. Learn about port, the shopping and find things to do that aren’t the normal tourist traps. This will help you be prepared when you get there and is a great family activity to extend the vacation excitement.
2. Don’t over pack and create a packing list. Over packing is the most common mistake made especially if you’re a first timer. Just sit down and make a list of the clothes and personal items you need. Then put it aside for a couple of days and take it out again and cross off half of everything you put down. You really don’t need 3 swim suits and 2 hair dryers.
If you follow these 3 simple suggestions your cruise planning will be must less stressful and you will look forward to going instead of dreading going.

That celebrity Cruise lines trip had unexpected consequences, consequences that my parents would one day regret. You see, it further cemented my love of the ocean. Both my folks wanted me to go into law, but after that trip I was interested in Celebrity Cruise line employment. Rather than going straight to college after high school, I decided to go aboard a ship and worked there for a couple years. Eventually, I came to realize that I didn’t want to spend my whole life as a porter, but at first it was a lot of fun. Sometimes I dream of spending my life at sea, but my law career has really taken off in the last few years.
