Buying Property In Florida

Wednesday, March 21st, 2007

Take South Beach for instance. I know an architect who lives down there. He started buying property in Florida back in the early 90s. Needless to say, real estate has gone up along with every other cost of living. He made a fortune when he sold the first house he had purchased down there. There’s always some newbie shooting into town, searching for a summer home or idea spot to retire in. After all, cost of living is only relative to what you’re used to. If you’ve got someone coming out of Manhattan, who paid millions for their home, they suddenly think 800,000 is cheap. Next thing you know, they’re buying property in Florida and living the good life.

Disney Cruise Vacation

Tuesday, March 20th, 2007

The Disney Magic was the first ship, launched in 1998, and the Disney Wonder came into operation a year later. Each has more than 870 staterooms and they are almost the same in their design and features. A Disney Cruise vacation is booked for three, four or seven nights to sail to different spots in the Caribbean. The ships leave from Port Canaveral in Florida and make a stop at Castaway Cay, an island in the Bahamas that Disney owns and uses as an exclusive facility for their ships and their passengers and crew to have some rest and recreation on. Some vacation packages are a combination of the cruise and a stay at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.
