If you have one or more golfers on your holiday list this year, then you know that it can be pretty easy to figure what to get them, namely something to do with golf! Something that will help them play better, or enjoy the game more, or something they can wear. The problem comes into play in that there are just so many devices, clothes, accessories, aids, widgets, and gadgets that it can be hard to figure out what to get. Here’s an amazing device that will save your golfer time on the course (so he or she can play more rounds!), help them hit their targets more accurately more of the time, and improve their game to reduce their golf score. It’s the SkyCaddie SG5 Golf GPS Black golf rangefinder that can compute the distance from anywhere on or off the fairway to the intended target, like the green or the pin, for example. Loaded with the latest high tech, this hand held cell phone sized unit will be a welcome gift for your golfer to unwrap this holiday season.

California has great weather year round and naturally it has golf courses all over. It is a great hobby. Golf can be a frustrating game. It is a game of rhythm first and foremost, then comes the accuracy and finally power. But I find it hard to get anything going when I can’t find a comfort level with my golf clubs. I am just and amateur but I can really feel a difference using a confidence hybrid over a standard old club. The versatility of the club is what I like the most. Until I get better, I won’t invest in a large bag of premium clubs, so for now I have a few confidence hybrid irons and the rest are some old clubs I picked up at a second hand store. eventually I will replace them all. A great place to learn about all that confidence offers without being the confidence website of course is at the link above.

Don’t be misled by the “tour” label given to these “game improvement irons”. They are not designed for tour pros. Rather, they are remarkably forgiving clubs, designed with the average “weekend” golfer in mind. Occasional players will benefit the most from using Burner clubs, as will anyone wanting to see a quick, painless, improvement in their game.

If you are a golfer who is suffering from persistent high golf scores game after game, chances are you need to learn how to cure a golf slice since that could be a major factor that is destroying your golf game. If you have had any golf instructions or golf lessons whether from a pro at the golf course or from a golf instruction video, the last thing you want to show for your time, money, and effort on learning golf is a pretty slice off the tee. That leads to nothing but frustration and stress and downright disgust for the game or golf than to think every time you grip your club, get in your stance, position your hands, and execute a golf swing that the last thing that will happen is for the golf ball to travel straight down the fairway. It can make you want to trash your golf clubs, toss your golf bag, and never set foot on another golf course ever. It does not have to be that way. My latest article gives you tips and resources to help you cure a golf slice so that you can once again not only enjoy the game of golf, but have one satisfying game after another with longer drives and lower scores and overall more fun out on the course. Not to sound corny here, but the real first step in how you go about the task to cure a golf slice begins with you. It’s all in your head as the saying goes. As you probably know, about 90% of golf (as is the case with a lot of sports) is mental. This is true with golf slice cures too and is one of the most effective golf tips in general. See my article now for detailed methods on how to cure a golf slice right now.

When I was a youngster, the only place I ever saw junior golf clubs was at the various miniature golfing venues around town. That was about as close to actual golfing as we ever got, since back then all the kids in my town played baseball, basketball, soccer, and football. But things in the youth sports world have definitely changed since then, and now many private and public courses are making efforts to accommodate the influx of younger golfers by offering things like reduced membership fees, special instructional classes, discount practice days, and even rentals of junior golf clubs so you don’t have to have your own set in order to play.

Just over a decade ago, since Tiger Woods burst onto the professional golfing scene, interest in the sport has been soaring. More often than not, people who don’t ordinarily follow the PGA Tour will tune in to watch Tiger play and win. His story is a great one, and almost everyone knows that Tiger got his start at a very early age, with his father teaching him how to putt when he was just two years old. As a result, other parents who dream of raising their own future superstars are buying junior golf clubs in record numbers, and there are now more kids in the sport than ever before.

Have you seen that the professional golfers swing their clubs in almost similar pattern? Watching them on television make it as if they have the perfect golf swing. Each individual’s swing doesn’t look the same, but they all have the fundamentals in common. It all begins with the grip, then the aim ensues and finally the set up. It is believed that as you practice all the times, your swing will look the same. It doesn’t matter if your swing is not right, the principles of a perfect swing remain the same.
The golf swing is a straight forward step. It is often made overly complicated by players. First, a perfect golf swing must have good rhythm. If you don’t sync the rhythm and the movement, you will not able to execute a proper swing. If your swing is too fast back then the club and body are working against each other. Your goal is not to increase the speed on back swing but downsizing. A fast back swing will mess up the motion and rhythm of a shot and give most of the power to the hands. If you want to improve the rhythm and the movement, then swing the club slowly.
Next, a good back swing should start with your arms not your hands. When you move the club back, naturally your left shoulder and hips will turn. This will move the body weight to the right side. The hands should start to set at about waist high. As the club rises to the top, the shoulders continue to turn. It is important to have your hands set not broken down. Swing too much on the top will slow down the swing which makes your swing imperfect. Another way to improve your swing is to use a golf swing trainer like Medicus. More information can be obtained at Medicus dual hinge driver reviews.
You want to control the speed of the club when you downsize. It is important to hit the ball with the club head as much speed as much possible. Your perfect swing can be affected if the downsizing is too much. If you want a uniform swing, then pull your left arm from the above. This will bring your body towards the shot. Golfers who tries and lead the downsizing with the left side however might slide ahead of the ball upon impact and ruin a near perfect golf swing.
Many professional and amateur golfers use Medicus to correct their golf swing. There are good information on this golf training aid at Medicus dual hinge driver reviews. Don’t expect it to be the same as those you find in pro shops.
