The Absa Stadium Durban hosts a number of tournaments which are played throughout the rugby season, including the famed Super 14 and the well-established provincial Currie Cup contest. Kings Park hosts plenty of these matches and spiritedly supports its Sharks teams. Book your accommodation at Auberge Hollandaise Guest House. The Sharks are the Super 14 squad and the Natal Sharks are a separate team that plays the Currie Cup. Both sides draw players from KwaZulu-Natal, and when the Sharks are not on tour for the Super 14 many of them play in the Currie Cup as well.
Kings Park is renowned for its amazing post-match “vibe”. The stadium has excellent parking because there are a number of fields adjacent to it which are used for parking on match days. After the game, the festive stadium atmosphere moves out and onto the parking fields.
Families and friends often park together and after the match return to their cars to braai (barbecue), have a drink and generally enjoy post-match celebrations (and sometimes, commiserations)!
Soccer at the stadium: Local team, the Lamontville Golden Arrows compete in the South African PSL (Premier Soccer League) and play at Absa Stadium, Kings Park. Many concerts are held at the stadium as well. The stadium is transformed with a huge stage, massive sound systems and enormous lighting rigs.
When planning a visit to the Absa Stadium Durban, contact Auberge Hollandaise Guest House we offer 5-Star accommodation, a short drive from the stadium.

The Moses Mabhida Stadium is Durban’s exciting, brand new sporting facility: a 70000 seater stadium built for both the FIFA Soccer World Cup and as a multi-purpose sports stadium and entertainment venue. The stadium was designed to be a landmark akin to the Eiffel Tower or the Sydney Opera House. That vision has certainly been fulfilled, with the beautiful new Moses Mabhida Stadium having changed the Durban skyline for good.
The Moses Mabhida Stadium is near to the centre of Durban, close to the Durban Country Club and the Kings Park sports grounds. It’s easy to find and quick to get to depending where you are in the city. If traffic is light, you can get from the beachfront to the stadium in five minutes by car. Central Durban is ten minutes away and the luxury 5 star Auberge Hollandaise Guest House in Durban North is only 15 minutes by car.
The purpose of Moses Mabhida Stadium is threefold – It is designed to be:
A recognized landmark; an exceptional sports facility with superb amenities; a sustainable entertainment and multi-use sports venue.
Although inspired into being by South Africa’s hosting of the 2010 FIFA Soccer World Cup, the stadium was constructed for much more. It seats 70000 people and can be used for a variety of sporting and cultural events. The stadium has natural ventilation and wide, flip-up seats for comfort. It’s also an architectural gem and won a number of awards before construction was even completed.

It’s no wonder that Orlando, FL is the number one family vacation destination in America. There are just so many fun and exciting things to do in the area that everyone can have a good time no matter what their preference. Throw in excellent hotels, affordable dining, and beautiful weather and you end up with the perfect setting for your next getaway. Before you board the plane, however, make sure you get your Orlando theme park tickets ahead of time.
No visit to the city would be complete without hitting up a park or two for a full day of thrilling rides and dazzling shows. Walt Disney World is the main attraction, of course, but there are plenty of other options as well, including Universal Studios, Sea World, and Islands of Adventure. While there’s no denying that you’ll have a great time at these places, the price of admission is generally pretty steep. That’s why it pays to purchase discount Orlando theme park tickets online.
There are a number of brokers that can get you incredible deals on various ticket packages that will suit your itinerary. You cannot simply walk up to box office at Disney and score a buy-one-get-one-free bargain, so don’t count on that as your only money-saving strategy. Instead, it takes a bit of time on the computer to comb through the many offers for cheap Orlando theme park tickets that are out there. Some are better than others, making comparison shopping a must.
When purchasing discount Orlando theme park tickets online, it’s important to read all the fine print associated with whatever deal you’re getting ready to make. Some brokers have very strict policies against refunds or exchanges, so it’s probably best to organize other aspects of your trip first to make sure you have firm dates in mind. In addition, there could be expiration dates or other time restrictions associated with the Orlando theme park tickets you get, so make sure you understand exactly what you’re getting into.
Barring any unforeseen calamities, the process of buying cheap Orlando theme park tickets online should go pretty smoothly. With any luck at all, you’ll end up saving quite a bit of money by getting your passes early, which always helps when going on vacation. Then you can use that extra cash towards meals, souvenirs, and other incidentals while traveling. All in all, it just makes far more sense to scour the internet for bargains instead of resigning yourself to paying full price at the gate.
The next time you take your loved ones on a well-deserved holiday to the Sunshine State, do yourself a favor and buy your Orlando theme park tickets before departure. You’ll get more bang for your buck that way and won’t have to wait in long lines at the ticket counter. It’s a win-win situation all around!
